Serious accident on A1: Four injured and long traffic jams near Wildeshausen!

On Saturday, March 30, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on Autobahn 1 between the Groß Ippener and Wildeshausen-Nord junctions. The collision took place around 4:50 p.m. when the traffic through a construction site stuck a lot and had to be led past the obstacle.

A 34-year-old and a 69-year-old were involved directly into the accident. Both vehicles were so badly damaged that they were no longer ready to drive and had to be recovered by a towing company. The person who caused the accident came to a standstill on the road. The incident led to a massive traffic jam of around four kilometers, which brought considerable disabilities.
