In the early morning hours of Friday, the police in Osnabrück arrested four alleged burglars who tried to break into a car workshop in Industriestrasse. Thanks to an attentive witness who perceived a loud clink and reported the fleeting BMW X5 with Bochum license, the police were able to act quickly. On site, the workshop owner confirmed the theft of original keys and two vehicles: a white Skoda Superb and a BMW 3 Series.

After intensive search measures, the two stolen vehicles were discovered on a hardware store car park in Osnabrück, both with accident damage. With the help of a police helicopter, the officials managed to snap two other young people near the highway. All four suspects were brought to the police department; At the order of the public prosecutor, the stolen cars and other evidence such as outerwear and mobile phones were secured. Three of those arrested had to face a judge on Friday and are now in custody.
