There was a lot going on in Salzgitter on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The new snack bar “BBB Döner World”, located at Wilhelm-Kunze-Ring 4, opened its doors and caused a huge stir. The special opening offer of just one euro for a kebab attracted numerous hungry guests, not only from the immediate area. Many people became aware of the opening through social media and gathered in front of the store, so that the queue was over 30 meters long and almost encircled the entire block. A woman from Salzgitter even reported waiting for over an hour to finally be able to enjoy one of these coveted snacks. News38 reports that the offer was only available while stocks last.
The operators of BBB Döner World, Hakan Yenikaya, Jeff Altunkaya and Dogukan Cagin, have not only decided on this unique opening offer, but also want to impress with high-quality dishes in the long term. The quality of the food is their top priority: they rely on home-produced meat and fresh ingredients, without any flavor enhancers or additives. Regionalheute highlights that the menu includes traditional Turkish dishes and that a dedicated DJ created the right atmosphere at the opening. Guests also have the opportunity to choose between different variants such as in bread, in a roll (Dürüm) or in a kebab plate.
A special offer for gourmets
The menu selection at BBB Döner World has something for all tastes. Four different chicken kebabs and three veal kebabs are offered, with prices ranging between 7.50 euros and 9.50 euros. Every Saturday there is also a steak and lamb skewer, which increases the culinary variety even further. The franchise concept behind the new kebab shop could be further expanded in the region; However, the one-euro offer is intended as a one-off promotion. The choice of location was well thought out, as the headquarters in Braunschweig already attracts many regular customers from Salzgitter.
In order to open a kebab shop, there are of course some legal requirements that must be taken into account. There are many steps that need to be taken, from obtaining a business license to obtaining a restaurant permit. Among other things, knowledge of food hygiene is required and numerous documents must be provided. The opening was a complete success and the operators can absolutely look forward to their first customers.
