Accident series in the region: cyclists and drivers slightly injured!
Ottersberg, Deutschland - On Monday morning there was a traffic accident in Ottersberg when a 64-year-old van driver disregarded the right of 29-year-old cyclist. The collision occurred at the intersection to Münslütten street around 07:20 a.m. when the cyclist was traveling on the walking and cycle path of Lilienthaler Straße towards Grasberg. The cyclist fell and moved slight injuries, while property damage of around 1,600 euros occurred on both vehicles.
At the same time, another incident occurred in Langwedel when a 35-year-old driver opened the vehicle of a 21-year-old unchecked. The latter had before to turn left on the L158, but had to brake until a standstill due to oncoming traffic. The impact meant that both cars were no longer ready to drive and the road had to be partially closed. Both drivers also suffered minor injuries and the property damage is estimated at around 11,000 euros.In the afternoon, two oncoming cars collided on Gödestorfer Straße in Emtinghausen when a 59-year-old was blinded by sunlight and drove in the middle of the road. A 70-year-old who tried to avoid could not avoid the collision. Both vehicles had to be towed, the property damage amounts to around 10,000 euros, while both drivers were slightly injured.
