Beach soccer fever in Wolfenbüttel: The super kickers win!
The sunlight shines over the KOMM BeachClub in Wolfenbüttel and creates a hot atmosphere at the start of this year's BeachDays. On June 23, 2025, the first ball was dropped at an exciting beach soccer E and F youth tournament that opened at 10 a.m. A total of four teams duel for first place, and there was great joy when “Die Superkicker” emerged as the shining winners. The “MTV Wolfenbüttel Lions” came in second, followed by the “Teddy Bears” and the “MTV Wolfenbüttel Tigers”. A brilliant start that promised the following events in the coming days!
In the afternoon, the beach soccer power card cup for young people between 12 and 16 years old was on the program. This included special game mechanics in which power cards such as double goals or a goalkeeper without hands were used. The B-youth of SV Halchter lost out that day, but victory was certain for them! The “Thunder Wolves”, the “Wolfenbüttel Warriors” and the teams from “Germania II” and “Germania I” landed on the places.
A colorful program for everyone
A diverse program awaits visitors in Wolfenbüttel until June 29th. On Monday there will be a beach soccer school tournament for grades 6 and 7, followed by the beach soccer bambini tournament for the little ones. Tuesday is dedicated to school tournaments, while Wednesday features a beach dodgeball tournament for the 5th graders. On the same day there will be a beach volleyball 2-a-side mixed cup in the afternoon.
BeachDays also offers exciting beach volleyball competitions. On Thursday, older students are invited to beach volleyball from grade 10 onwards. The crowning conclusion will be the Ostfalia Cup on Thursday evening, which will warmly welcome students, lecturers and employees of the university.
Friday has the beach volleyball company leisure cup, which not only ensures sporting excitement, but also socializing.
Important information for visitors
Admission to BeachDays is free for spectators. However, this year the night run has been canceled due to overlaps with other events. Even if there are no long night events, the focus is on activating offers from June 27th to 29th that collect donations for a social cause. Cyclists are welcome and can park their bikes on site. Parking spaces are also available in the IGS Wallstrasse schoolyard - especially after school and on weekends.
