Nordbremer musician Matthias Monka: New hymns and album planned!
Hankenstraße 18, 28359 Bremen, Deutschland - Matthias Monka, a musician from Nordbremer, has big plans for the coming months. In his creative creative phase, he would like to publish a new album and two hymns. One hymn is devoted to his hometown, while the other addresses the Werder Bremen football club. Interestingly, Monka works with a new producer team this time, which he got to know about Jan Schütz. He usually cooperates with Oliver Kronhardt, with whom he continues to plan live live performances this year and is aiming for a new cooperation from 2026. The new album will bear the title "Uprising of Light" and thematically address the current global situation.album details and crowdfunding
The album will consist of new compositions, while the other half is based on newly arranged pieces from Monka's repertoire. According to Monka, his new production opportunities have the advantage that he can determine the sound of each song in detail - a freedom that is often missing in self -productions. To cover the production costs, he may plan a crowdfunding campaign. Here he would like to offer supporters incentives such as living room concerts. Nevertheless, he emphasizes that the album should be released regardless of the crowdfunding campaign in autumn.
As part of his musical activities, Monka also works on a new Bremen song entitled "Bremen, my city". At the same time, a Werder anthem is published that has the same melody as "Bremen, my city", but with a new text that celebrates the football club. Monka has already contacted the club to discuss the anthem.
EP publication and further create
On April 29, Monka will publish the EP "Four Seasons" together with Jan Schütz, for which free entry to a release concert in Meisenfrei, Hankenstraße 18, at 8 p.m. The EP is sold on this evening and via Monka's Facebook page, on which concert dates can also be found.
The album "Wechselauf", on which Monka and Kronhardt worked, addresses the ups and downs of life as well as the Ukraine war. The song "Regenbogen" expresses Monka's compassion for those affected and ends with the "Stop was" message. The CD is available for ten euros plus shipping costs and reflects the achievements of 2022. Further planned publications and joint projects with Andi Pique are in prospect.
In today's music industry, artists such as Monka have the opportunity to build a fan base regardless of major labels and to finance their projects through crowdfunding. Platforms such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo offer support in the implementation of creative ideas, which plays a crucial role for musicians to make their dreams reality, as described on Music HubDetails | |
