The van was occupied by a total of five people, including two men from Slovakia aged 38 and 44 and a 37-year-old woman from Ukraine. These three occupants tragically died at the scene of the accident, while two more, one 54-year-old inmate from Poland and the driver himself, were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The circumstances of the accident are currently still unclear. Initial examinations indicate that possible negligence of the driver played a role, although no evidence of the influence of alcohol or drugs is presented; The corresponding tests were negative. The property damage amounts to around 20,000 euros.
