Shocking accident: 71-year-old pedestrian seriously injured!

On Wednesday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident on Nienburger Straße around 3:45 p.m., in which a 71-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured. The senior citizen went carelessly on the road when she was hit by a 78-year-old car driver who was traveling out of the city and could no longer brake.

The collision was violent: the older lady was thrown into the ground by the impact and suffered serious injuries. Immediate medical help was provided, an emergency doctor fought for her life before finally flown to a special clinic with a rescue helicopter. The police have started investigations into the exact approach of the accident.
