On Friday afternoon around 4:00 p.m., a violent traffic accident between a car and a cyclist occurred in Frankenthaler Strasse. According to the first reports that the police are present, the 21-year-old driver did not notice the cyclist when he ran across the bike path. The cyclist was on the way from the Sandhofer intersection towards Viernheimer Weg.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, but the total damage to the accident is around 1500 euros. The police have started investigations and the exact circumstances of the incident are now being clarified. The accident site was temporarily targeted by the officials, while the first aiders were quickly on hand to support
