Serious accident on B27: drivers overhauled despite the ban and injured!

On Thursday, around 4:00 p.m. on the B27 between Wahlheim and Kirchheim there was a serious traffic accident that demanded two injuries. A 26-year-old Audi driver overtook despite the ban on overtaking and crashed head-on into the VW Up of a 47-year-old driver who was properly on the opposite lane. The force of the impact let both vehicles spin and stand across the street.

The woman had to be recovered from her vehicle by the fire brigade, while both drivers were taken to the hospital seriously injured. The VW driver was flown to a clinic with a rescue helicopter. For the rescue and recovery measures, the B27 was completely closed until around 7:30 p.m., which led to extensive operations by the police, fire brigade and emergency services. So far, the property damage remains unclear.
