A dramatic traffic accident occurred on Wednesday on Varler Straße when a 21-year-old scooter driver was seriously injured. The young man was traveling towards Rahden around 5:35 p.m. when he lost control of his two -wheeler in a left turn for an unknown cause.

Near the confluence with the "Alter Kirchweg" confluence, he raced from the road, ran over a green strip and a bike path before crashing against a tree and a fence. The circumstances of the accident are still unclear, the police are determined. The seriously injured driver was immediately taken to the hospital.
