A dramatic accident shook the Hochsauerlandkreis yesterday! Around 3:05 p.m., a 17-year-old petty skate rider from Büren on the L637 between Madfeld and Alme raced into a life-threatening situation. For circumstances that have so far been unexplained, the young person lost control in a right -hand bend and crashed against the guardrail. The impact was so violent that he got serious injuries.

For the injured driver, all help came too late - he was immediately flown to a clinic with a rescue helicopter. During the entire accident recording, which was carried out by a special team from Paderborn, the L637 to 6:10 p.m. was completely closed. The police are now looking for witnesses who can contribute further information about the course of the accident. Anyone who has clues is asked to report to the traffic commissioner Brilon.
