Serious accident in Soest: 15-year-old e-scooter driver injured!

Last Saturday a 15-year-old Soester was seriously injured while driving with his e-scooter when he was recorded in an underpass by a VW Golf. The accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. on Grandweg-Ulricher-Wallstrasse when the young driver was traveling towards the city center. The Golf, directed by a 61-year-old man, drove against the prescribed direction of travel and crashed into the scooter driver.

After the collision, the young person fell on the street and was seriously injured. The golf driver initially stopped, but continued his journey without leaving his personal details. Thanks to an attentive witness, the police were able to quickly identify the person who caused the accident, who had to give his driver's license. The seriously injured e-scooter driver was immediately taken to a hospital in Soest.
