Lightning strike in Sprockhövel: Fire brigade in use according to roof damage!

On Easter Sunday at 7:00 p.m., the Sprockhövel volunteer fire brigade was alerted: a flash hit a roof on Elberfelder Strasse in the Gennebreck district! The dangerous impact left a hole and damaged several roof tiles. But that was not all - even in the adjacent houses, several sockets and safety boxes were affected.

Financies were quickly on site to check the affected buildings for possible foci with a thermal imaging camera. Fortunately, all risks could be excluded because no increased temperatures were found. The assignment was over after an hour, and the fire brigade was able to breathe a sigh of relief - worse things had been prevented again!
