Am Wochenende meldete die Polizei Celle zwei Verkehrsunfälle mit Fahrern unter Alkoholeinfluss. Beide mussten ihre Führerscheine abgeben.

A spectacular traffic accident occurred on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. on Wittinger Strasse in Lachthausen. A 31-year-old driver from the district lost control of his Mercedes and crashed against a garden fence. Fortunately, the person who caused the accident was unharmed, but a breath alcohol test brought him to shocking 1.38 per thousand. The driver's license was ensured and criminal proceedings are imminent.

Just a day later, on Saturday evening around 9:00 p.m., a 41-year-old Celler at Wilhelm-Heinichen-Ring was caught during a check. His VW was noticed by striking driving style, and a breath alcohol test produced an alarming value of 1.46 per thousand. Criminal proceedings and the confiscation of his driver's license await him too. The police warn for caution in road traffic!
