In Aachen, a neo-Nazi march is planned for January 18, 2025, organized by Ferhat Sentürk, a former AfD politician. Sentürk, who supports a “million -out remigration”, wants to end his demonstration near the Autonomous Center (AZ), where a queer event takes place.

The planned route leads through the migrant Eastern district, which could be perceived as a targeted intimidation. As early as December 14, 2024, Sentürk had participated in a similar demonstration in Berlin, in which groups of violence such as "German youth", "young and strong" and "The Third Way" took part. These organizations are known for attacks on political opponents, minorities and left-wing groups and had also emerged in Berlin with brutal attacks on SPD members.

Sentürk had previously announced an exit from the AfD and plans to found a separate party called "Bürgerlichen Allianz", which is said to be registered by the beginning of January 2025. The Aachen police have so far received no information about the planned march, while the safety of queer people in AZ and the migrants in the Eastern district is considered endangered.

The collected slogans of the right -wing extremists demonstrate show a clear anti -Semitic, xenophobic and violent attitude. It remains to be seen how the situation around the planned deployment will develop and what measures are taken by the security authorities.
