Police Heinsberg exposes numerous violations of large control!
On Monday, April 28, the Heinsberg police carried out a large-scale commitment to monitoring commercial and freight transport from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Supported by forces from neighboring circles and the Netherlands, the controls on the B 56 concentrated, where a total of 74 trucks, vans and 24 cars were checked.
The officials discovered numerous violations, including defective load securing, overcharge and technical defects. Particularly alarming: In a vehicle, the dangerous overload of over 35 percent threatened, which will result in a fine. In addition, a truck driver was caught who transported a tipper truck without any backup and had also paid no toll fees. His onward journey was prohibited. Violations of social regulations also took place, with eight drivers being occupied with advertisements, among other things because of unsecured straps and mobile phone use while driving.
