Düsseldorf shaken: three kitchen fires in a short time!

On Wednesday afternoon, March 5, 2025, two kitchen fires in the districts of Hassels and Benrath occurred in Düsseldorf. Thanks to quick intervention, the fire brigade quickly had the flames under control, so that fortunately nobody was injured.

Just half an hour later, an emergency call reported another kitchen fire in Pigageallee, where initially there was ambiguity as to whether the resident could leave the apartment in good time. Several fire and rescue units were alerted, but the apartment was already empty before they arrived. Here, too, the fire brigade was able to successfully prevent the fire from spreading. A total of around 40 emergency services were deployed in both missions, which started to return to their locations after about 30 minutes.
