Accident on Dümmlinghauser Straße: Two injured in frontal collision

On Thursday afternoon, March 20, there was a spectacular accident on Dümmlinghauser Straße in Bernberg. A 55-year-old driver from Bergneustadt got into oncoming traffic for an unknown cause and collided head-on with the vehicle of an 86-year-old man from Gummersbach. Fortunately, both those involved in the accident suffered only minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for further treatment.

The dramatic events led Dümmlinghauser Straße to be completely closed for about two hours while the police examined the scene of the accident. Thanks to the rapid reaction of the rescue workers, it remained at a happy outcome, even if the shock was certainly great for those involved.
