On Friday evening, April 11, 2025, a brutal attack on a 16-year-old occurred in Bielefeld. When trying to get his e-cigarette back, the teenager was seriously injured by a group of at least five men with a vodka bottle. The attack took place near a playground between Bleichstraße and at the indoor pool at 7:20 p.m. when the perpetrators snatched the Vape from the Paderborner.

The police quickly moved out and was able to arrest three suspects, a 20-year-old from Gelsenkirchen and two 20 and 21-year-old Bielefeld. All three are of Syrian origin. However, the search for the other participants was unsuccessful. The investigators are now looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident or the fleeting persons. Witnesses are asked to report to the crime commissioner 13 on 0521/545-0.
