Kesselbrink, Bielefeld, Deutschland - The Bielefeld police investigate after two terrifying incidents with pepper spray in the city center on Saturday, April 12, 2025. At around 02:30 a.m. the police were called to Kesselbrink, where a 29-year-old Bielefeld woman was injured when an unknown husband suddenly wanted to spray her pepper spray in the face. The young woman had previously spoke to the man, but was unable to provide any further information about the crime.

In the adjacent park on the street at the indoor pool, there was also an attack against a 19-year-old Bielefeld, who was at the playground with friends. At around 10:00 p.m. he was insulted by a group of men before one of them also sprayed pepper spray in the face. The slightly injured victim had to be taken to the hospital after the first aid.
