In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 25-year-old man turned out to be a veritable traffic row in Lippe! At around 01:10 a.m., witnesses noticed an accident -damaged black BMW 3 combi, which stood across the street "Windbusch". The driver, heavily alcoholic and confused, initially gave the witness no rest and tried to get away, but drove towards Ostwestfalenstrasse. The brave witnesses promptly alerted the police and followed the driver to Blomberg - Istrup.

Although the man tried to hide in a garage entrance, he was provided by the officials. A look at his dirty vehicle revealed the whole truth: he had not stolen no permanent residence in Germany and the BMW without the owner's consent! A blood sample was arranged because the suspicion was confirmed that it was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He was temporarily arrested and now has to answer for dangerous traffic offenses and other crimes. Witnesses of a possible accident with the BMW are urgently asked to report to the police!
