Attempted robbery in Lünen: Police are looking for witnesses from Brambauer!

On Saturday evening, April 26, a supermarket in the Brambauer district of Lüner was the destination of a failed robbery. The perpetrators, equipped with toy weapons, did not shy away from the employees after an attentive woman recognized the weapons as counterfeits and ignored the demands. Shortly afterwards the two men fled without prey over a fence in the south.

The police describe the main perpetrator as male, about 185 cm tall, between 20 and 30 years old, with a slim figure and a Southeast European appearance. He had black hair and wore dark blue jeans as well as black outer clothing and a mask. It was striking that he spoke German with an “Arabic accent”. The investigators ask for evidence of witnesses who have noticed suspicious people in the area of Brambauerstrasse. Information on the investigation can be reported on 0231/132-7441.
