On Saturday afternoon, the Breckerfeld volunteer fire brigade was called for a dramatic operation in the main street. A neighbor had alerted because a person had fallen in her apartment and could no longer get up.

The brave firefighters, supported by the Löschgruppe Zurstraße, quickly opened the front door and took care of the resident in need, while the emergency services were already on the way. The assignment took about an hour for the volunteers to return to the tool shed safely. A happy ending in a critical moment!
