In a dramatic traffic accident night in Mariendorf, a 28-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. when a 68-year-old Toyota driver suddenly turned to the Mariendorfer Damm shortly before Richterstrasse. The young biker, who was on his Honda in the direction of Alt-Mariendorf at high speed, could no longer brake in time and raced into the side of the car.

The motorcyclist was thrown under the Toyota by the impact. However, police officers were able to pull him out quickly and provided first aid before the rescue workers intervened. He had to be operated on immediately, his condition is considered critical. The Toyota driver suffered a head injury and was also taken to the hospital for observation.
