Traffic accident escape in Emmerich: Unknown driver on the run!
On Wednesday morning, January 29, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident on Zevenaarer Strasse in Emmerich occurred at 6:36 a.m. A 59-year-old man from the city was traveling with his brown/black VW Tiguan when he collided 307 during an overtaking process with a Peugeot stopped. The driver of the Tiguan came off the road and landed on the rescue access of a sports field.
Fortunately, the man only suffered minor injuries, but considerable property damage to both vehicles occurred. The other road user who came from the opposite direction, despite the accident, moved in the direction of Elten, without violating his duty.
