Serious accident in Sprockhövel: Bus crashes 4 meters deep!

On Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. there was a dramatic traffic accident between a regular bus and a small van in Sprockhövel. After the violent impact, both vehicles lost control and came off the road. While the van came to a standstill on a field, the regular bus plunged down a 4 meter deep slope and was on the side.

A total of ten people were injured, including drivers of both vehicles and eight passengers. Fortunately, everyone from the bus could escape independently before the emergency services arrived. The driver of the small van and two bus passengers suffered moderate injuries, while the others were only slightly injured. Due to the massive use of rescue workers from the entire En-district, including around 35 firefighters and 20 rescue workers, the situation was quickly brought under control. The mission ended around 4 p.m.
