Robber gang snapped into Erwitte: E-scooter and pedelec secured!

Last Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m., the police were called into an apartment building on Alter Hellweg street. Residents had discovered that they had been broken into their basement, with an e-scooter and a high-quality pedelec being stolen. The e-scooter could be used to use its location function, which led the officials to an inner courtyard in the street on the church square, where they found several broken castles, bicycles and burglary tools.

At the sight of the police, three suspects-a 21-year-old Russian citizen, a 23-year-old German and a 25-year-old Ukrainian-immediately retired. Police officers then applied for a search decision, during the subsequent search not only numerous stolen goods, but also the e-scooter were found. The three men were temporarily arrested and the criminal police have taken over the investigation.
