Survey on quality of life in Gelsenkirchen: What about Hassel and Westerholt?
In the city of Gelsenkirchen, a comprehensive survey on the quality of life in the districts of Hassel, Westerholt and Befertlicht begins today. This survey runs until June 1, 2025 and is carried out to find out whether the quality of life of the residents has improved. A total of around 600 randomly selected residents are interviewed directly at the front door. The measure is part of a city renewal program that has been running for over ten years, which is supported by Gelsenkirchen as well as Herten and other partners. According to Radio Emscher-Lippe , the survey should also contain feedback on the measures already implemented, such as the renovation of playgrounds and the upgrading of green areas.
