Emergency call abuse in Haspe: 18-year-old forces police!
An 18-year-old in Hagen misused the police emergency call on Wednesday evening to get access to his apartment. The young man alerted the emergency services at 8:30 p.m. and claimed to urgently need important things from his apartment. However, when the police arrived, it quickly turned out that the emergency call was completely unfounded.
The young man had difficulty opening the door with his key and wrongly speculated that the castle had been exchanged. Instead of looking for help from his family members, he called the police. The officials discovered that neither the castle had been changed nor that there was a real emergency. Due to his misconduct, criminal proceedings against the 18-year-old were initiated.
