Robbery theft in Hagen: Unknown perpetrator spits on the face!

In a suspected robbery in the city center of Hagen, an unknown perpetrator tried to steal a suitcase on Thursday afternoon (March 27, 2025). The 39-year-old injured party noticed the man who had wrapped the suitcase with aluminum film and was just going towards the exit. When she spoke to him and reached for the suitcase, the thief reacted aggressively: he pressed the suitcase against her chest and spat on her face before he escaped.

Despite the immediate alarm by the police, the perpetrator was able to escape. However, the woman was fast enough to take a photo of him that was presented to the investigators. The man is estimated at about 40 years, is around 180 cm tall, has a southern appearance, short black hair and wore black sunglasses as well as a black jacket and blue jeans. The criminal police have started the investigation into predatory theft.
