On Monday, January 27th, there was a dramatic incident in Hamm Central Station when two shoplifts suddenly reacted violently. A federal police officer discovered a young person who hurriedly fled from a drugstore, persecuted by a shop detective. Despite the police officer's request to stand, the 17-year-old tried to change him, and made bitter resistance when he was finally brought to the ground.

The young people thief, who wanted to free himself from the civil servant several times, was tied up and brought to the guard of the federal police, where the emergency services found thiefs in his pants. In the incident, the police officer suffered a slight knee injury, but remained duty. The federal police have now initiated extensive investigations against both the young people and a 32-year-old man.
