Olders of the old: Witness prevents handbuffs in Hamm!

A courageous witness threw a hand -handfold on Friday morning on the Römerstrasse in Hamm. At 10:09 a.m., the man watched an 83-year-old lady stowed her purchases in her trunk. At a careless moment, the perpetrator grabbed the senior's handbag and fled. However, the witness was not shaken up and tried to stop the thief, injured his knee. Fortunately, medical treatment was not necessary.

The thief was described as male and 30 to 40 years old, with a European look, dark hat, black and white hoodie and blue jeans. His escape vehicle was a blue Ford station wagon with a Ukrainian license plate. The police are now looking for further information on the incident and asks the population to report suspicious observations.
