Drunk trip in Bremen: Chaos on Woltmershauser Straße!

A 35-year-old man caused chaos in Bremen-Woltmershausen on Saturday evening when he was drunk by his car. Around 8:10 p.m. he drove on Woltmershauser Straße at an excessive speed, lost control and rested on the sidewalk, where he demolished a bus stop, several parked cars and a kiosk. Fortunately, it remained with property damage - there were no serious injuries.

But the balance is terrifying: the drunk driver showed an alcohol value of 1.8 per thousand and could also have been under the influence of medication. After a primary care by rescue workers, he was taken to the hospital for medical and psychological examination. His 22-year-old passenger suffered a shock. During the accident recording, Woltmershauser Straße had to be temporarily closed, but this led to little traffic impairments. The extent of the damage remains enormous.
