Mysterious accident: Escape driver leaves VW Passat damaged!

A mysterious incident occurred on Tuesday evening when an unknown driver of a dark blue van on the market square in Kleve touched a parked VW Passat and badly damaged. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. and instead of stopping, the driver fled after causing the damage. Witnesses reported that a passenger rose from the van to examine the damage to the Passat while another eyewitness recorded a video of the fleeting vehicle.

The video shows a van with loading area that is covered with a light tarpaulin. The "NY600" fragment can be seen on the license plate - which probably comes from abroad. The passenger is said to have spoken Polish at the inspection. The police are therefore urgently looking for other witnesses who can provide information on the incident or the fleeting vehicle.
