The anticipation for the new ice hockey season is increasing! On September 19, 2025, the Ravensburg Towerstars will start the main round of the DEL2, and the details have now been officially confirmed. The entire game plan for the 2025/2026 main round was published by the DEL2, as the screen newspaper reported. The clubs had four weeks to coordinate their schedules regarding the availability of their arenas, which led to some changes.
A total of 17 games were postponed or home advantage was swapped, and the starting times also showed some adjustments. Towerstars fans can look forward to exciting encounters, starting with the first home game on September 21, 2025 against the Blue Devils from Weiden in the CHG Arena. Further home games against well-known opponents such as Düsseldorfer EG, the Krefeld Pinguine and the Kassel Huskies are also on the program.
Highlights of the season
A look at the schedule shows some exciting dates. Ravensburg will face Krefeld in the Christmas duel on December 23, 2025. Then there will be an away game against the Bietigheim Steelers on December 26th. The last home game of the year will take place on December 30th against Düsseldorfer EG, which is certainly a highlight for the fans.
Another treat are the family game days, which offer an earlier game time of 4 p.m. These special games will take place on December 14, 2025 against Crimmitschau and on February 1, 2026 against Bad Nauheim. In addition, a retro game day on October 24, 2025 will put fans in a nostalgic mood.
