Rapid speed controls in the Märkisches Kreis: Blitz lights from the police!

In the Märkisches Kreis, a comprehensive speed monitoring recently took place, in which several measuring points were targeted. On February 21, 2025, 31 vehicles were measured in Balve-Beckum without violations. In Menden-Lendringsen there were 142 vehicles, with 10 speed violations and three administrative offenses being found, the maximum value there was 96 km/h instead of the permitted 70 km/h.

329 vehicles were checked in Hemer-Landhausen, with 16 people being displayed-the maximum value was 97 km/h. Another measuring point in Iserlohn-Kalthof registered 600 vehicles, including 55, which were moving in the warfare area, and a driving ban for a driver who was traveling at 86 km/h. The measurements in Hemer-Deilinghofen and Kierspe also showed significant exceedations and numerous advertisements. Overall, the results show that speed violations are common, and the police stepped in to increase traffic safety.
