Alcohol ride: woman without a driver's license and husband caught with per thousand!
Meerbusch, Deutschland - On Tuesday (January 28th), the police officers in Meerbusch experienced an unexpected turn during a traffic control. A 59-year-old driver who smelled a lot of alcohol was stopped. A breath alcohol test resulted in a value of around a per thousand. Since her driver's license had been withdrawn due to an earlier drunk trip, the woman had to ask her husband for collection. But the 61-year-old came with his own car-also drunk! An alcohol test was also carried out with him, which showed a value of 0.7 per thousand.
The Rhein-Kreis Neuss police urgently warns of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. Such controls are necessary to protect both their own passengers and uninvolved road users. Alcohol and drug rides are rigorously followed in the car as well as on bicycles or scooters every day.
