Digital living environments are expanding and ALDI TALK is on board. On September 25, 2025, the discounter will launch two new tariff options for internet use at home. How Gotha Current reports, with the new “ALDI TALK Home S” and “ALDI TALK Home L” tariffs, customers are offered the opportunity to benefit from high data volumes and a fast 5G network.

With “Home S” users receive 150 GB of data for 19.99 euros every four weeks, while “Home L” includes twice the amount, i.e. 300 GB, for 29.99 euros. This is an interesting alternative for those who are looking for flexible internet solutions to meet their own needs. In addition, when purchasing a router, customers can look forward to a free ALDI TALK data SIM with a starting credit of 10 euros.

Router offers and the technology behind them

Two routers are available for using the new tariff options. The stationary 5G WiFi router ZTE G5TS costs 99.99 euros and offers advanced technology for the home. Alternatively, there is the mobile 4G/LTE router ZTE U10, which is available for 29.99 euros and connects up to 32 users.

Both routers contain the mentioned data SIM with starting credit, which significantly lowers the entry barrier. The big advantage? It is used via Telefónica's 5G mobile network, as well Computer base highlights. This allows technicians like the ZTE G5TS to exploit the full potential of the 5G network, which theoretically enables speeds of over 1500 Mbit/s, even if the ALDI TALK tariffs are actually limited to 100 Mbit/s download and 25 Mbit/s upload.
