Fraudulent shock calls: 79-year-olds are not wrong!

On Thursday morning, March 13, a 79-year-old woman from the Paderborn district received a shock call that disturbed her considerably. At around 10:00 a.m., a wine -minded voice reported on the phone and told the elderly woman about an alleged traffic accident. But the ingenious lady immediately recognized the telephone fraud and did not get involved in the invented story.

When the woman did not react, the caller became insulting and tried to put pressure on. But the senior citizen was undeterred and immediately ended the conversation. Thanks to her vigilance, she remained intact and did not fall on the attempt to fraud.
