on Thursday evening, around 5:38 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred in the Eichen cookie crossing area on the L188, in which a regular bus collided with two cars. All four fire trees from the Burscheid volunteer fire brigade were immediately alerted after the control center reported several injured people. When the first rescue workers arrived, the alarmed location was confirmed - all three vehicles were badly damaged and a total of 14 people suffered injuries.

The injured people were immediately cared for by the emergency services; Eleven of them had to be transported to nearby hospitals. Due to the mission, the road was completely closed during the after -school care center, which led to significant traffic disruptions. The fire brigade was used until around 8 p.m., while the police took over the examination of the cause of the accident. Around 50 fire brigade forces were on duty to cope with the situation.
