Cable theft in Freudenberg: Police are urgently looking for witnesses!

Freudenberger Hauptstraße, 97922 Lauda-Königshofen, Deutschland - In Freudenberg, a considerable cable theft was committed at the weekend: unknown people stolen several hundred meters of power cables worth five digits by a former industrial site. The perpetrators were able to gain access between Friday and Monday and apparently transported the prey with a large vehicle. The police asks witnesses who have made suspicious observations.

At the same time, the Lauda Königshofen police station is looking for a break-in into a color business for indications. Here, thieves gained access over a window and stolen cash between Friday and Monday morning, while causing around 3,500 euros in property damage.

In addition, an accident occurred at Lauda Königshofen, in which a pregnant woman had to be freed from her vehicle. The 24-year-old collided on federal road 292 with another car when she wanted to turn. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to a hospital. The property damage amounts to around 20,000 euros.
