Two months before the event on October 3rd, over 6,000 hobby drivers have already registered - an increase that significantly exceeds the 5,200 participants from last year. Radiowaf reports that registration for the routes was quickly booked up and the last places were snapped up like hot cakes.
The event has developed into a real highlight for all cycling enthusiasts. The route, which mainly runs through the Warendorf district, starts in Oelde-Stromberg and takes the cycling professionals over more than 190 kilometers to the magnificent castle in Münster. Hobby riders also have the opportunity to choose between different distances. Westphalian News informs that participants have options of 65, 95 and 125 kilometers available, with the start for amateur athletes taking place at 8 a.m. at the Principal Market.
