In the night of Wednesday around 1:48 a.m., a patrol car crew tried to control a Ford Ranger at the Uerdinger Straße / Kautzstraße intersection. But the driver of the vehicle withdrew the control and raced through the streets of the city center at a very excessive speed. The visual contact with the fleeing vehicle was finally lost on Moerser Strasse.
