In a dramatic incident on Tuesday evening, the police officers of the district police authority Wesel pulled a ruthless driver out of circulation. Around 10:45 p.m., the officers noticed a car that raced along the Reeser country road at an excessive speed. They immediately accepted the persecution when the driver, a 23-year-old Weseler, ignored a red traffic light at the Reeser Landstrasse / Herzogenring intersection and turned on the left on the Pastor-Boelitz-Straße.

Thanks to attentive witnesses and targeted search measures, the emergency services were able to quickly find it. The driver now looks forward to criminal proceedings for a forbidden vehicle race. Individual cases like this show once again how dangerously ruthless driving can be!
