On Monday, May 5, 2025, the police in Oberhausen were alerted when a passer -by reported a supposed shot from an apartment building in the outer bank. Numerous emergency services moved out around 5:00 p.m. and were quickly on site.

The surprise followed on the foot: Instead of a terrible crime, it turned out that a 77-year-old resident had ignited a firecracker! When searching his apartment, the officials also discovered other bright bodies and immediately secured them. An incident that probably did not cause a real moment of terror.
