insights into mathematics
The Gauss lecture has set itself the goal of making top research in mathematics and understandable. Supported by Springer Verlag Heidelberg, the DMV offers a platform on which specialist representatives can discuss current results and questions from mathematics. Universities can apply to Prof. Bernhard Hanke for the organization of a future lecture in order to actively contribute to the spread of mathematical knowledge, as reported.
In the past, various important events have already been held. The 41st Gauß lecture was planned on June 25, 2024 in Klagenfurt and the 42nd lecture on December 6, 2024 in Erlangen. In the current series of events, Prof. Dr. Sturm is expected to initiate the next top -class discussion.
