Fire alarm in Bad Neuenahr: Successfully cleared department store!

On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, a fire broke out at the outer facade of a department store in downtown Bad Neuenahr around 3:31 p.m. The Koblenz rescue center informed the police, who immediately alerted the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler fire brigade. This was able to quickly extinguish the fire caused by burning insulation material under the facade and thus prevent spreading.

At the time of the incident, there were several customers in the department store, which fortunately remained unharmed. The building was quickly cleared to ensure the security of everyone. No information about the extent of the damage or the cause of the fire is currently available, since the investigation by the police is still ongoing.
