On Friday evening the alarm bells beat in Alzey! The police and fire brigade Rushen to Carl-Goerdeler-Straße due to suspicious smoke development from an apartment. But the rescue workers can breathe a sigh of relief: a fire was not the cause. Instead, an unattended cheese bread turned out to be a culprit in the microwave!

Thanks to the rapid ventilation from the fire brigade, the residents were able to quickly return to their home. Fortunately, there were no injuries or significant damage to property. Another day when city life continues for its residents as normal - although the cheese bread caused a warm fright!
