Shocking control: 80% of the trucks in Ammerland contested!

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, the regional control group of the Oldenburg Police Directorate at the Morbung Autohof carried out comprehensive control of 50 vehicles. The focus was on heavy goods traffic and buses. Alarming: 40 of the controlled vehicles received complaints, which corresponds to a quota of 80%. 13 drivers were prohibited from continuing.

The control brought shocking results to light! Dulant toll fees of around 10,000 euros were found in a foreign transport company and moved in immediately. An overloaded vehicle transporter had to expect a security deposit of EUR 262.50, while a tractor -trailer was classified as traffic -conscious due to broken brake discs and was also not allowed to continue. In addition, several violations were discovered in animal transport law checks, including an injured beef and inadmissible inner German transports. In a further case, even a driver was exposed without a valid driver's license. The police have initiated numerous procedures against the companies and drivers concerned!
